Jack Charewicz - The Visionary Behind Revibes

Early Life and Entrepreneurial Beginnings

Jack Charewicz grew up in Adelaide, where his entrepreneurial spirit was evident from a young age. At just 13, he was delivering newspapers and stocking shelves at his local news agency. Unlike most kids his age, Jack didn’t view work as a chore—it was a passion, a challenge, and a form of entertainment. This drive and relentless work ethic shaped his future, pushing him toward a career in business.

From an early age, Jack displayed an insatiable curiosity about how things worked. Whether it was understanding supply chains or marketing strategies, he wanted to know the intricacies of business. This curiosity led him to explore various industries, eventually positioning him as a leader in the sustainability sector.

Building a Career in Sustainability and Renewable Energy

Before founding Revibes, Jack was apart of a reputable renewable energy company. His expertise in this field made him an advocate for sustainability, and he quickly recognised that while energy solutions were advancing, waste management was lagging behind.

Jack’s most recent role before Revibes was with a major reuse brand based in North America. This company had backing from Live Nation Entertainment and celebrity investors such as Ashton Kutcher and Guy Oseary’s venture fund, Sound Ventures. Through this experience, Jack gained valuable insights into the reuse industry, helping him refine his vision for an Australian-based solution that could compete globally.

The Birth of Revibes

Jack founded Revibes with a singular mission: to make reuse mainstream. Revibes provides cost-effective, reusable food and drink ware, aiming to replace single-use plastics in stadiums, venues, festivals, and airlines.

What sets Revibes apart is its investment in state-of-the-art, German-engineered washing technology. With the ability to hygienically clean over 20,000 cups per hour, Revibes has been able to offer reusable solutions that match the convenience and cost of single-use plastics. Jack firmly believes that for sustainability initiatives to succeed, they must be as seamless as the wasteful habits they aim to replace.

Revibes is more than just a product—it’s an ecosystem. From logistics to branding opportunities for sponsors, Jack has built a comprehensive service that helps businesses transition to reuse with minimal friction. His commitment to ending single-use waste in Australia has driven Revibes to become an industry leader, with partnerships across major events and corporate sectors.

Personal Life and Motivation

While Jack is deeply committed to his work, his greatest motivation comes from his two young sons, Oli and Nico. He often shares that no one truly understands drive until they have children to live for. Jack’s passion for sustainability is, at its core, about ensuring a better future for his boys and the generations to come.

When he’s not working, Jack enjoys spending quality time with his sons. Whether it’s outdoor adventures or simple moments at home, he cherishes the role of being a father above all else. He also values maintaining strong personal relationships, recognising the importance of a solid support network in both business and life.

Q&A with Jack

Q: What inspired you to start Revibes?

It started with a frustration—why was there no scalable, cost-effective reusable alternative to single-use plastics? I saw that businesses were willing to change, but they needed a solution that wouldn’t disrupt their operations. That’s what Revibes aims to provide.

Q: What’s been the biggest challenge in scaling Revibes?

Educating both consumers and businesses. There’s so much misinformation about what’s truly sustainable. Many people assume biodegradable or compostable packaging is the answer when, in reality, most of it ends up in landfill. Getting people to rethink their habits is an ongoing challenge, but it’s one we’re tackling head-on.

Q: What’s a typical day like for you?

It depends on where I am. If I’m in Sydney, I’m usually finalising partnerships, overseeing operations, and ensuring our logistics run smoothly. If I’m back home in Byron, I try to balance work with quality time with my boys. Regardless of location, my days are packed, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Q: What’s one piece of advice you’d give to aspiring entrepreneurs?

Don’t wait for the perfect moment—start now. There’s never a ‘right’ time to launch a business. If you have an idea and you believe in it, go for it. Also, surround yourself with smart people who challenge your thinking. No one succeeds alone.

Q: How do you see Revibes evolving in the next five years?

I want Revibes to become the ‘Uber of reuse’—accessible, affordable, and integrated into everyday life. We’re already working on expanding our partnerships and making reuse more convenient. The goal is to make single-use plastics obsolete.

Q: What’s one thing most people don’t know about you?

I never switch off. Some people need breaks from work, but for me, business is a passion, a game, and something I genuinely enjoy. That being said, my kids always come first—nothing beats being a dad.

The Future of Reuse in Australia

Jack’s vision for Australia is clear: a future where reusable packaging isn’t just an option but the norm. With support from government policies, strategic partnerships, and a growing consumer awareness, Revibes is leading the charge in making sustainability both practical and profitable.

His journey—from a hardworking teenager in Adelaide to a pioneering CEO—shows that passion and perseverance can create real change. With Revibes, Jack Charewicz isn’t just building a company; he’s building a movement, one that has the potential to reshape the way Australians think about waste and sustainability.

As Revibes continues to grow, so does Jack’s influence in the sustainability sector. Whether it’s through high-profile partnerships or grassroots education, one thing is certain: Jack Charewicz is determined to leave a lasting impact on the world, proving that reuse isn’t just a trend—it’s the future.
